Our Story...
How We Met:
Quinton and Lauren met at the wedding of Aaron and Tiffany Watson in October 2011 in Washington DC. They enjoyed chatting with one another during the wedding festivities (even walking down the aisle together!) and agreed to keep in touch if he ever visited New York.
After being encouraged by mutual friends to get to know one another weeks after the wedding and talking on the phone for a few weeks, Quinton visited New York with the Michigan State Basketball team and took Lauren out on their first date - to an Irish pub on 8th Avenue near Times Square, where the team was staying for the trip. Classy, right?
The following day, Lauren took her mom to the Michigan State basketball game vs. Dook at Madison Square Garden where she introduced her mom to her future fiance. And the rest is history!
